Cellophane Self-Adhesive Label
Clear, Colored and Custom-Shaped Labels Made for Your Packaging
A label affects how a package looks, how it opens and how clearly a brand communicates its material choice.
YiTo Pack develops custom cellulose labels and cellulose self-adhesive labels made with regenerated wood-pulp cellulose. Our range includes clear, colored and transparent cellophane labels, with custom die-cut designs, removable or permanent adhesives, and low-halogen structures for different packaging applications.
Cellophane is the main material in this range, offering a plant-derived option for brands developing sustainable labels and eco friendly packaging labels. PLA, paper, thermal, PP and PET labels are also available when different surface properties, durability, or application conditions are required.

High Transparency
Provides a clear appearance while keeping the original packaging and product visible.
Anti-Static Performance
Helps reduce static buildup during processing, storage and label application.
Good Dust Resistance
Helps reduce dust attraction and maintain a cleaner packaging surface.
Good Printing Compatibility
Suitable for custom colors, logos, barcodes, QR codes and other printed graphics.
Flexible Sustainable Structures
Facestock, adhesive, coating and liner options can be matched to different packaging applications.
Biodegradable Material Options
Cellulose-based structures are available for biodegradable and compostable packaging projects.
Four Cellophane Label Structures
Choose a regular or low-halogen structure with removable or permanent adhesive. Every option can be customized in color, shape, printing and roll format.
Standard · Removable
01Regular Removable Cellophane Label
For temporary branding and information that should come away cleanly from a tested surface.
Applications: Glass bottles, reusable packs, promotional stickers and temporary labels.
Standard · Permanent
02Regular Permanent Cellophane Label
For branding and product information that must remain attached during distribution and retail use.
Applications: Food packs, cosmetic containers, bottles and retail boxes.
Low Halogen · Removable
03Low-Halogen Removable Cellophane Label
Developed around the customer’s specified limits for chlorine, bromine or total halogen.
Applications: Electronics boxes, reusable presentation packs and temporary identification.
Low Halogen · Permanent
04Low-Halogen Permanent Cellophane Label
A permanent structure for packaging and identification labels that must meet a defined halogen specification.
Applications: Electronics, electrical products and component packaging.
Low-Halogen Cellophane Self-Adhesive Labels
YiTo Pack engineers custom low-halogen Cellophane self-adhesive labels for electronics packaging, electrical products and component identification. Removable low-halogen labels are available for temporary identification and reusable presentation packs, while permanent low-halogen labels support long-term branding, barcodes and product tracking.
For every low-halogen label project, the evaluation covers the finished construction rather than the Cellophane facestock alone. Customers provide the required limits for chlorine, bromine or total halogen together with the applicable test method. YiTo Pack then reviews the adhesive, printing ink and coating used in the proposed label structure.
Label Structure and Material Options
A Cellophane self-adhesive label combines four functional layers. Printing and protective finishes are applied to the facestock, while the release coating allows the completed label to separate from its liner during application.
Facestock
Cellophane is a regenerated cellulose film commonly made from wood pulp, making it suitable for cellulose based labels and transparent packaging applications. It provides a smooth printable surface for both clear and solid-colored labels.
Common facestock thicknesses can be selected within the 30–65 μm range according to project requirements. The final thickness is matched to label size, printing method, dispensing requirements, packaging surface and intended application.
Transparent areas allow the original package to remain visible, making the material particularly suitable for transparent cellophane labels. White ink can be printed beneath selected artwork when the logo or product information needs an opaque base. A protective varnish may also be applied over the printed area.

Adhesive
The adhesive is selected according to the packaging surface and intended service life.
Removable options are developed for temporary labels that need cleaner removal from a tested surface. Permanent adhesives are used when the label must remain attached during distribution, retail display and product use.
Low-halogen projects are evaluated against the customer’s specified test method and concentration limits.
Release Layer
A thin release coating sits between the adhesive and the liner. It keeps the adhesive protected before use and allows the label to peel away smoothly during manual or automatic application.
The release coating remains on the liner rather than transferring to the package.
Liner
The liner supports the label during printing, die-cutting, storage and application. Glassine, paper and film liner options are available.
For automatic labeling, please provide the machine’s core diameter, winding direction and maximum roll diameter before sample production.
Other Materials
|
Material |
Suitable Uses |
| Cellophane | Clear or colored labels for bottles, food packs, cosmetics and retail boxes |
| PLA | Film labels for qualified compostable projects; see our custom PLA adhesive labels |
| Coated Paper | White, matte, gloss or full-color labels for cartons and bottles |
| Sugarcane-Fibre Paper | Natural-looking labels for organic and handmade products |
| Thermal Material | Barcodes, pricing and variable data; see our biodegradable thermal labels |
| PP/PET | Labels exposed to refrigeration, moisture, oil or frequent handling |
Custom Cellophane Labels
YiTo Pack supports custom biodegradable labels and custom cellulose labels for different packaging structures, branding requirements and application methods. Size, shape, facestock thickness, adhesive, printing, finish, liner and roll configuration can all be developed around the customer’s packaging and labeling process.
Clear and Colored Designs
Cellophane labels may be fully transparent, semi-transparent, tinted or covered with full-color artwork.
Clear areas can reveal the product or package beneath the label. White ink creates an opaque base under a logo or text, allowing clear and solid-color areas to appear in the same design.
Standard and Custom Shapes
Standard formats include round, square, rectangular and oval labels. Custom dies can follow a logo, symbol, illustration or closure line.
The final size and cutting path are confirmed from the artwork before tooling.
Printing and Finish
YiTo Pack supports single-color and CMYK printing, white ink, barcodes and QR codes. Selected designs may also use foil stamping, varnish, gloss or matte effects.
Artwork files should show the cutting line, bleed, white layer and print direction.
Adhesive Options
Removable adhesive is intended for temporary use. Permanent adhesive is selected when the label should remain attached throughout the product’s service life.
Samples are tested on the actual bottle, box, pouch or container. A successful test on glass does not confirm the same result on coated paperboard or PET.
Applications
Electronics and Electrical Products
Low-halogen labels are developed against the customer’s stated limits and test method. Uses include box seals, barcodes, accessory packaging and component identification.
Dark or high-gloss cartons should be tested for visible adhesive marks, dust attraction and clean removal before the specification is approved.
Food and Fresh Produce Packaging
Cellophane, PLA and paper labels are available for jars, bakery boxes, snack pouches, produce trays and other food packs.
Food-contact suitability is checked against the intended use. Refrigerated produce projects should be sampled under the expected temperature and condensation conditions.
Bottles, Cosmetics and Premium Boxes
Clear labels work well where the container or printed box remains part of the design. Colored artwork and custom shapes can add branding without covering the full surface.
Removable structures suit reusable bottles and presentation boxes. Permanent structures are used for long-term branding and product information.
For round closures and box seals, explore our clear round sticker options.
Retail and Logistics
Colored and custom-shaped labels support private-label products, promotions and seasonal packaging. Thermal materials are available for pricing, barcodes and warehouse identification.

Why YiTo Pack
With more than ten years of experience in sustainable packaging, YiTo Pack develops labels as part of the complete package rather than as an isolated component. Before bulk production, samples are tested on the customer’s actual bottle, box, tray or pouch to confirm adhesion, removal, print appearance and dispensing performance. Our team supports each project from material selection through repeat production, while keeping the artwork, finished-label specification and available documentation aligned whenever the ink, coating or print coverage changes.
